On 12 Aug 12 Bobby Baker, age 42, 190 Arends
Ridge Road, Marietta, reported he believes a family member stole
some of his clothing as well as two Playstation games and a
children’s bicycle from his residence. This case remains
under investigation (312).
On 12 Aug 12 the Beverly-Waterford Fire Department
transported Robert D. Wilson, age 59, 5026 Riley Drive, Johnstown,
OH, to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment after he fell
fifteen feet from a ladder. Trimming a tree at 142 Luke Chute
Road, Waterford, Mr. Wilson cut a branch that swung back and
struck him in the face, knocking him off the ladder. Mr. Wilson
did not suffer serious injuries and should recover fully (608).
On 12 Aug 12 Lt. Norman arrested Timothy J.
Bookman, age 31, 90 Stanley Street, Newport, for possession
of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. While performing
a welfare check on a juvenile at that address Lt. Norman and
Deputies McConnell and Allender observed Mr. Bookman seated
next to a marijuana pipe and a small black container. Though
he initially denied the items belonged to him, Mr. Bookman later
admitted the substance in the container was synthetic marijuana
and that it and the pipe were both his.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jeremy John Nicholas, age 33, 210 Market Street,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Nicholas was arrested on Eighth Street by Patrolman Chapman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 12 Aug 12 at 4:22 am.
Goldie Lynn Brookover, age 51, 186 Main Street
Lot 4, Lowell, for a felony charge of theft of drugs and a misdemeanor
charge of falsification. Brookover was arrested by Deputy Sheriff
Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Aug
12 at 7:59 am.
Kristi Nicole Stevens, age 26, 1768 Sycamore
Street, Akron, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Stevens
was arrested on Camp Hervida Road by Deputy Sheriff Maze and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Aug 12 at 8:40
Michael Allen Bowers, age 36, 1405 Elm Street,
Parkersburg, for a felony charge of illegal assembly of drug
making chemicals and misdemeanor charges of criminal trespassing
and resisting arrest. Bowers was arrested at on Veto Road by
Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Aug 12 at
Timothy John Bookman, age 31, 90 Stanley Street,
Newport, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia
and for violating the terms of his probation, all misdemeanors.
Bookman was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Norman of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 Aug 12 at 7:27 pm.
