On 4 Aug 12 an employee of Sandbar Oil & Gas reported tools, motors, pipe fittings, drill bits, a pump and a pipe retriever were stolen from a well site off Long Run Road near the Noble County line. The stolen items have a value of approximately $2,700. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 4 Aug 12 Thomas W. Dearth, age 20, 785 Bender Road, Marietta, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect stole his 1999 Subaru Legacy. Deputy Sheriff Holbert subsequently learned Mr. Dearth’s vehicle was towed after being crashed in the 900 block of Bender Road. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 4 Aug 12 Robert Vaughn, age 55, 27001 Green Street, Lower Salem, reported an inoperable RV he stored at 103 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, was stolen sometime after he last saw it in early 2011. This case remains under investigation (597).

On 4 Aug 12 Leslie Wolfe, age 54, 1018 Rocky Point Road, Fleming, reported between the dates of 3 Aug and 4 Aug an unknowns suspect(s) stole two motorcycles and a canoe from his property at 1114 Rocky Point Road. The missing property is worth an estimated $500. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 4 Aug 12 Deputy Sheriff McPeek arrested Justin D. Tabler, age 28, 22915 Mayle Ridge Road, Stewart, for domestic violence. Intoxicated and angry following an argument with his wife at 1282 Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, Mr. Tabler attempted to punch his wife through a partially open car window. Mr. Tabler missed his wife and instead struck the left side of his sixteen year old stepson’s face. At the Washington County Jail Mr. Tabler tested .180 BAC.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Lisa Marie Morgan, age 41, 407 Maple Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Morgan was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 1:16 am.

Matthew Thomas Lutzen, age 33, 315 Second Street, Lower Salem, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Lutzen was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 3:05 am.

Jeffrey Eugene Wilson, age 49, 21503 Reymond Street, Maple Heights, OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license ad speeding, both misdemeanors. Wilson was picked up at the Maple Heights Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 3:11 am.

Jeremy John Nicholas, age 33, 210 Market Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for disorderly conduct by fighting, both misdemeanors. Nicholas was arrested on Butler Street by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 5:16 am.

Erich Marshall Leach, age 51, 177 Beachwood Drive Apt. B, Parkersburg, for disorderly conduct, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Leach was arrested on Blennerhassett Avenue by Patrolman Freed of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 7:29 pm.

Norma Louella Carpenter, age 36, Route 1 Box 67C, West Union, WV, for theft, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested in Lowell by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 9:03 pm.

Justin Davison Tabler, age 28, 22915 Mayle Ridge Road, Stewart, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Tabler was arrested at 1282 Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 12 at 11:57 pm.
