On 27 Jul 12 a passerby reported a Chevy pickup truck was abandoned last month in the vicinity of 11800 Veto Road, Marietta. Checking the vehicle’s registration, Lt. Rhodes learned the truck was reported stolen in Pike County, OH on 2 Jun 12. Law enforcement in Pike County arranged for the vehicle to be transported to their jurisdiction and said a warrant was issued for a suspect in the theft.

On 27 Jul 12 Karen S. Strahler, age 62, 410 Stone Quarry Road, Fleming, reported two employees became embroiled in an argument at her company that evening. When Ms. Strahler ordered one of the employees off the premises he became angry, verbally abusive and bumped his chest against her. Ms. Strahler fired the employee and was counseled on how to obtain a protection order against the suspect. She declined to pursue charges in the matter (592).

On 27 Jul 12 Emilee A. Schwendeman, age 19, 211 Rummer Road Apt. C, Marietta, reported sometime between 4:30 pm and 10:30 pm an unknown suspect(s) entered her home. Ms. Schwendeman said her dogs were out of their kennels and items were strewn about the floor but nothing appears missing. This case remains under investigation (500, 592, 953).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Gene Allen Isner, age 35, 128 Sunset Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Isner was arrested on Quarry Street by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 12 at 12:41 am.

Corey Donovan McAdams, age 21, 1063 Kennebec Avenue, McConnelsville, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. McAdams was picked up in Nelsonville by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 12 at 3:17 pm.
