On 24 Jul 12 Sgt. Hornbeck and the Little Hocking Fire Department responded to a fire at the residence of Thelma O. White, age 65, at 1007 Mill Branch Road, Belpre. No one was inside the home when lightning struck a nearby tree and traveled inside the residence through an outside electrical outlet. The residence appears to be a near total loss, with severe smoke and water damage to the interior.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Luke Allen Archibald, age 30, 2134 34th Street, Canton, OH, for a felony charge of domestic violence and for misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and violating the terms of his probation. Archibald was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul 12 at 4:30 pm.

Tracy Bryan Bronson Jr., age 21, 6949 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for two felony counts of gross sexual imposition. Bronson was picked up at the Belmont Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul 12 at 4:51 pm.

Tammie Sue Kerns, age 45, 718 McGill Road, Vincent, for illegal cultivation of marijuana, a felony. Kerns was arrested at her residence by Detective Richards of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul 12 at 7:20 pm.
