On 11 Jul 12 Mark L. Duskey, age 45, 1945 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, reported he’d just fallen asleep while house sitting at his future brother in law’s home at 15105 State Route 550, Fleming, when he heard a noise. Inspecting the noise, Mr. Duskey observed the glass in a downstairs door was broken. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 11 Jul 12 Lt. Gherke and Sgt. Smeeks responded to a report of an intoxicated male who was brandishing a handgun and allegedly threatening to harm himself. When they arrived at 554 Pine Ridge Road, Fleming, the Deputies noticed Nicholas Dobbs, age 40, had an odor of alcohol, glassy, bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet. Questioned about his actions, Mr. Dobbs said he had no intention of harming anyone and commented that he was on his own property and if he wanted to drink alcohol and shoot his gun at his barn there was nothing law enforcement could do about it. Viewing spent shell casings on a porch near Mr. Dobbs’ other belongings, Sgt. Smeeks arrested Mr. Dobbs for using a weapon while intoxicated and transported him to the Washington County Jail. At the jail, Mr. Dobbs tested .168 BAC.

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michael Shawn Williams, age 35, 808 Third Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 12 at 3:24 am.
