On 5 Jul 12 Carolyn Y. Murphy, age 64, 7485 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, reported an acquaintance visited her home that week and during that time she believes her acquaintance removed a number of pills from her recently filled prescription bottle. Questioned about the missing pills, Heather A. Knotts, age 30, 836 Pike Street Apt. 24, Marietta, admitted stealing the pills from Ms. Murphy’s purse the previous afternoon. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Metts arrested Ms. Knotts for theft and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 5 Jul 12 Santana Lake, age 26, 127C Greene Street, Newport, reported she received several unwanted text messages from Curtis J. Noel, age 50, 255 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta. Ms. Lake has a protection order against Mr. Noel that forbids him from having any contact with her. Despite that fact Mr. Noel continued to text message Ms. Lake even after he was advised to cease contacting her by Deputy Sheriff McLeish. Therefore, Deputy McLeish arrested Mr. Noel for violating the terms of a protection order and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jerry Dean Coleman, age 51, 7188 South Dale Road, Stockport, for telephone harassment, a misdemeanor. Coleman was picked up in Morgan County by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 11:38 am.

Jimmy Ray Waterman, age 30, 1045 Sandhill Road Lot 10, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Waterman was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 3:34 pm.

Brandan Ray Sutherland, age 18, 29045 State Route 7, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Sutherland was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 5:27 pm.

Curtis Jay Noel, age 50, 255 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Jay was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mcleish and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 8:09 pm.

Jamie Scott Alenskis, age 49, 1322 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, for resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Alenskis was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 9:05 pm.

Donald Joseph Wilson, age 25, Parkersburg, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Wilson was apprehended in Mineral Wells, WV by a bail bondsman and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 9:12 pm.

Heather Ann Knotts, age 30, 836 Pike Street Apt. 24, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Knotts was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 10:13 pm.

Christina Renae Jackson, age 28, 606 Florence Street, Belpre, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Jackson was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 12 at 11:44 pm.
