On 4 Jun 12 Deputy Sheriff McPeek issued a citation to Kyle Sparks, age 23, 830 Ridge Street, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy McPeek originally stopped Mr. Sparks for having an inoperable license plate light near the intersection of Third and Ohio streets in Marietta.

On 4 Jun 12 Tonya K. Posey, age 32, 5 Third Street, Lowell, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered two vehicles outside her residence. From inside the vehicles, Ms. Posey said the suspect(s) stole two portable DVD players and a total of approximately $100. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 4 Jun 12 John W. Church, age 44, 10080 State Route 550, Vincent, reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his storage building at 2035 State Route 550, Cutler, and stole an estimated 250 pounds of copper wire. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 4 Jun 12 Beverly King, age 59, 4336 State Route 676, Stockport, reported she was injured during an argument with her live-in boyfriend, Anthony C. Tates, age 53. Ms. King said during the argument that Mr. Tates shoved her, causing her to fall backwards and to strike the back of her head on an unknown object. When Deputy Sheriff McPeek arrived at the scene, Mr. Tates was seated in a chair outside the home with a bottle of whiskey between his feet. Mr. Tate appeared extremely intoxicated and was unable to provide a statement. Viewing injuries consistent with Ms. King’s statement, Deputy McPeek arrested Mr. Tates for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Scott Matthew Masa, age 38, 1310 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, for OVI and failure to control, both misdemeanors. Masa was arrested on Caywood Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 12 at 2:46 am.

Dean Leroy Phillips, age 34, 404 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Phillips was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 12 at 8:50 am.

Adrian Steven Henderson, age 27, 1103 Camden Avenue Apt. 2, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Henderson was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 12 at 12:53 pm.

Romen Zachary Vandall, age 29, 124 Gilman Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Vandall was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 12 at 11:28 pm.
