On 27 May 12 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Clark E. Westbrook, age 25, 2220 Federal Road, little Hocking, for traveling 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Mankins stopped Mr. Westbrook on State Route 7 near Eramet in Warren Township.

On 27 May 12 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Steven A. Bunker, age 51, 3657 Brunken Drive, Cincinnati, for traveling 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Mankins stopped Mr. Brunken on State Route 7 near Eramet in Warren Township.

On 27 May 12 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Henry R. Greene, age 66, 2507 North Avenue, Parma, OH, for traveling 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Mankins stopped Mr. Greene on State Route 7 near Eramet in Warren Township.

On 27 May 12 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Christopher M. Sloan, age 37, 57 Osbourne Mills Road, Clendenin, OH, for traveling 70 mph in a 40 mph zone. Sgt. Mankins stopped Mr. Sloan on State Route 7 near State Route 550 in Pioneer Township.

On 27 May 12 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Frank McMasters, age 48, 5933 Cady Road, North Royalton, OH, for traveling 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Mankins stopped Mr. McMasters on State Route 7 near Eramet in Warren Township.

On 27 May 12 Deputy Sheriff Caltrider requested summonses for Daniel J. Scott, age 20, 5222 Veto Road, Vincent; Benjamin E. Ekelman, age 20, 109 Cherry Blossom Lane, Little Hocking; Christopher L. Roy, age 20, 170 Miles Avenue, Little Hocking; and Tracy E. Coy, age 18, 1688 Barth Road, Belpre, for underage consumption of alcohol. While on patrol in the area of Windy Ridge Road, Deputies Caltrider and Ferguson encountered an individual who said there was a bonfire behind a nearby barn and there may be alcohol present. Questioned by the Deputies, each of the suspects admitted consuming beer throughout the evening.

On 27 May 12 Brian F. Rollison, age 39, 80 Edmar Avenue, Marietta, reported he was involved in a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Jodie Miller, age 29, while he visited her residence at 23760 State Route 7 Lot 17, Marietta. Prior to Mr. Rollison’s arrival, Ms. Miller’s roommate said Ms. Miller was angry that she found pictures among the items in a suitcase belonging to Mr. Rollison and set fire to the suitcase in a fire pit. Later during the incident Ms. Miller used a steak knife to puncture a tire on Mr. Rollins’ vehicle. No one was injured during the fray. Based on his investigation, Deputy McPeek arrested Ms. Miller for arson and criminal damaging and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Randall Curtis Schultz, age 51, 641 Woodridge Drive, Fern Park, FL, for driving under a suspended license and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Schultz was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 May 12 at 1:12 pm.

Jodie Dawn Miller, age 20, 27360 State Route 7 Lot 17, Marietta, for arson and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. Miller was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 May 12 at 8:39 pm.

Clifford Elmer Stephens, age 51, 2020 Nancy Drive, Zanesville, for OVI, failure to reinstate his operator’s license, speeding and for operating a vehicle with fictitious plates, all misdemeanors. Stephens was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 May 12 at 9:34 pm.
