Accusing his wife of chatting with other men online, Mr. Joy struck his wife in the face with such force that it knocked her glasses to the floor. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff Carr, Mr. Joy said he caught his wife video chatting with a man and claimed that she attempted to stab him in the neck with a candle holder. On 30 Apr 12 Sgt. Smeeks and the Dunham Fire Department responded to a fire at the residence of Jason Blosser, age 31, at 5140 Veto Road, Vincent. Mr. Blosser said he awoke in the middle of the night, smelled smoke and evacuated his family after seeing an orange glow in the home’s basement. The fire, which caused substantial damage, appears to have started when loose insulation fell from the basement ceiling onto a lighted candle.
