On 26 Apr 12 Steve Howard, age 56, 5109 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, reported he gave an acquaintance two tires and rims to place on his truck on 9 Apr with the guarantee that the acquaintance would pay for the tires in several days. Mr. Howard said the acquaintance has yet to pay him for the tires. This case remains under investigation (507).

On 26 Apr 12 Linda Dill, age 54, 104 Coventry Road, Marietta, reported she visited her boyfriend’s residence at 555 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for a short time that afternoon and as she was leaving her boyfriend’s mother fired a weapon in her direction. Ms. Dill stated she heard a gunshot and believes the projectile fired from the long gun struck the ground near her vehicle. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 26 Apr 12 Tracy Petry, age 38, 440 Second Street, Macksburg, reported he believes his ex-wife obtained a credit card in his name and used it to accrue debt of over $3,000 for which he is now being sued in small claims court. This case remains under investigation (592).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Larry Lee Crites, age 24, 703 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Crites was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 12 at 2:05 am.

Brandon James Payne, age 21, 127 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Payne was picked up at SEPTA by Deputy Sheriff Huffer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 12 at 11:26 am.
