On 18 Apr 12 Molly Richards, age 47, 260 Brackenridge Road, Vincent, reported she recently noticed three pieces of jewelry missing and believes they were stolen during a burglary in September of last year. Ms. Richards said the stolen items are Coldwater brand and are valued at approximately $900. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 18 Apr 12 the Sheriff’s Office assisted Children’s Services and the Marietta City Police Department in attempting to locate a runaway teenager. The sixteen year old, who is a ward of the state, was in the area on a thirty day furlough to visit his family and left school without permission. His current whereabouts remain unknown (594).

On 18 Apr 12 Logan Grimm, age 24, 9160 Veto Road, Belpre, reported he was involved in an altercation with his live-in girlfriend, Kristin Garmon, age 24. Mr. Grimm stated he was loading the couple’s son in his vehicle in the early evening and his girlfriend repeatedly grabbed at him and their son while attempting to remove the child from the vehicle. During the struggle Mr. Grimm suffered scratches to his arms and retaliated by kicking Ms. Garmon in the stomach and brandishing a pocket knife he found in the vehicle. Determining Ms. Garmon was the primary aggressor in the incident, Deputy Sheriff Caltrider arrested her for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Albert Carl Miner IV, age 27, 2549 Bear Run Road, Reno, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Miner was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 12 at 12:02 am.

Edward James Thompson Jr., age 28, 2549 Bear Run Road, Reno, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Thompson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 12 at 12:13 am.

Phillip Lee Smith, age 48, 9640 State Route 550, Cutler, for failure to appear, a felony. Smith turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 12 at 7:10 am.

Michael P. Hollingsworth, age 32, 712 Franklin Avenue, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Hollingsworth was arrested on State Route 7 by Lt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 12 at 5:42 pm.

Jeremy Paul Sargent, age 29, 728 Fifth Street Apt. A, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Sargent was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 12 at 9:15 pm.

Kristin Marie Garmon, age 24, 9160 Veto Road, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Garmon was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Apr 12 at 11:52 pm.
