On 5 Apr 12 Lynne George, age 40, 114 Rauch Drive, Marietta, was traveling southbound when she apparently became distracted and struck a no parking sign and a mailbox at 111 Rauch Drive. The collisions caused nonfunctional damage to the front and passenger side door of Ms. George’s Jeep Liberty.

On 5 Apr 12 Sgt. Smeeks requested a summons for a seventeen year old Parkersburg resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by assault. While visiting the residence of Frederick McKitrick, age 30, at 765 Warrior Drive, Vincent, the teenager became upset and attacked Mr. McKitrick with needle nose pliers. Fought off by Mr. McKitrick, the juvenile retreated to a back bedroom. Mr. McKitrick’s pregnant live-in girlfriend, Tabitha Way, age 30, attempted to calm the teenager, at which point he tackled her onto a mattress on the floor. Mr. McKitrick forcibly removed the juvenile from Ms. Way and fled the home along with their nine year old son. The teenager’s mother later arrived at the scene and returned home with her son without further incident.
