On 27 Mar 12 Gloria Rinard, age 62, 1020 Park Avenue, New Matamoras, reported when she awoke that morning she discovered a brick had been thrown through the passenger side window of her vehicle and her purse was stolen from inside. Ms. Rinard said her purse only had credit cards in it and did not contain any cash. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 27 Mar 12 Lonnie Murray, age 64, 1136 Powell Road, Cutler, reported sometime between 3 Feb and 8 Mar a fourteen inch single plow blade was stolen from a barn on his property. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 27 Mar 12 Roger Schau, age 62, 555 Schau Road, Lowell, reported at some point during the past month an unknown suspect(s) entered a pole building on his property and stole two Tri-Tronic dog collars. Mr. Schau said the collars, which are used for dog training, are valued at $300. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 27 Mar 12 Jessica Dunn, age 37, 534 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras, reported she recently noticed a shotgun was missing from her husband’s gun cabinet. Currently going through a divorce, Ms. Dunn said she and her husband were not to sell any property and she was concerned after learning her son sold the weapon. When contacted, Ms. Dunn’s husband said he gave the gun to his son as a gift and was unaware that he sold it. Neither Ms. Dunn nor her husband desired to pursue the matter further (208).

On 27 Mar 12 Deputy Sheriff Holbert arrested a fourteen year old Fleming resident on a charge of delinquency by domestic violence. The juvenile’s mother reported her son continuously disobeys house rules and attempted to harm his siblings in the past. Earlier in the evening the teenager’s sister said her brother was in a state of rage and tearing up a wooden fence. When she asked what he was doing, the teenager swung a board and nearly struck his sister in the head. While being interviewed by Deputy Holbert, the juvenile showed no remorse for his actions and said if he wasn’t removed from the residence he would conduct additional acts of violence against his family members.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

David L. Perine, age 27, 1216 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, for failure to confine/restrain a dog and for failing to register his dog 6 Mar 12.

Brent J. McKinney, age 37, 1370 Coal Run Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment and for failing to show proof of making restitution.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Adam Lee White, age 30, 154 Bennett Avenue, Webster Springs, WV, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. White was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 2:00 pm.

Whitney Ann Jacobs, age 23, 122 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 38, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Jacobs was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 4:30 pm.

Amanda Jo Bradford, age 32, 729 Seventh Street, Cambridge, for theft and complicity in theft, both felonies. Bradford was picked up at the Northeast Pre-Release Center by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 5:10 pm.

Brandon Edward O’Brien, age 24, 600 King Avenue, Cutler, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. O’Brien was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 5:55 pm.

Brandon Lee Hoffert, age 27, 421 Phillips Street Apt. 15, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Hoffert was arrested on Phillips Street by Patrolman Walters of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 6:05 pm.

Daniel Ray Hess, age 45, 728 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for sexual battery, a felony. Hess was arrested at his residence by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 8:57 pm.

Lacey Kay Day, age 30, 728 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for sexual battery, a felony. Day was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 12 at 9:31 pm.
