On 19 Mar 12 Deputy Sheriff Carr responded to the scene of death of a thirty-one year old Marietta resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to an intentional overdose on the prescription drug buspirone. Though no foul play is suspected, the woman’s body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy.

On 19 Mar 12 Daniel Sealey, age 24, 2315 School House Road, Little Hocking, reported after hearing a vehicle stop and what sounded like a pellet gun being shot outside his home he discovered the driver side mirror on his vehicle was cracked and there were paint chips on the driver’s side. This case remains under investigation (1007).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

John Aaron Givens, 100 Linwood Avenue Lot B, Marietta, for failure to register a change of address as a registered sex offender, a felony. Givens was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Mar 12 at 6:51 am.

Ricky Dee Hines, age 50, 271 Muskingum Drive, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hines was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Mar 12 at 3:55 pm.
