On 15 Mar 12 Deputy Sheriff Underwood requested a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager’s father reported his son refused to go to school for the past three days and was afraid a physical confrontation would erupt if he attempted to discipline his son. When the teenager eventually arrived at Warren High School later that morning he refused to attend class until the vice principal threatened to phone the Sheriff’s Office.

Deems and Morris have a history of drug related arrests, with Morris being arrested for possession and trafficking as recently as 4 Mar 12. Deems was last arrested for drug trafficking in 2010 and subsequently served a year in prison after being convicted.

As a result of the search warrant, Deems was arrested on a felony charge of possession of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Similarly, Morris was arrested on a felony charge of possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug abuse instruments. Agents also arrested Samantha J. Streight, age 23, 423 Douglas Avenue, Marietta, on a felony charge of violating the terms of her probation and Larry G.
