On 14 Mar 12 Lt. Rhodes arrested James C. Bartimus, age 38, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for driving under a suspended license, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Informed by an anonymous individual that Mr. Bartimus was driving a vehicle on State Route 339 in Little Hocking, Lt. Rhodes located Mr. Bartimus at Dunham Square. At the time of his arrest, Mr. Bartimus was found in possession of a marijuana pipe and a small quantity of marijuana.

On 14 Mar 12 Donna McDonie, age 30, 185 Main Street, Waterford, reported Jericho Pugh, age 22, 1490 Pugh Road, Stockport, left several threatening messages on her voicemail and subsequently appeared outside her home that evening. Ms. McDonie said Mr. Pugh pounded on her doors and windows and demanded she come outside to confront him. Additionally, Mr. Pugh threatened Ms. McDonie’s children and said he would burn her house down. Consequently, Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested a warrant for Mr. Pugh for menacing.

On 14 Mar 12 Deputy Sheriff McConnell requested a summons for a thirteen year old Fleming resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The juvenile ran away after arriving home on the school bus that afternoon. He was later located by one of his teachers walking along a nearby roadway and returned to his residence.

On 14 Mar 12 Merrill A. McCroskey, age 51, 2715 Mead Street, Belpre, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) punctured three tires on her 1997 Kia. Ms. McCroskey also said when she arrived at her residence in the evening hours of 9 Mar she discovered her back door was pried open and her refrigerator and freezer doors were ajar. An inventory of Ms. McCroskey’s belongings revealed that no property appears missing. This case remains under investigation (592).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew Lester Jones, age 27, 502 Warren Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of burglary and for misdemeanor charges of violating the terms of his probation and failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Jones was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 12:45 am.

George Gerald Springston, age 35, 3279 Dudley Avenue, Akron, for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Springston was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 2:02 am.

Amy Lynn Davis, age 37, 314 Lancaster Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested on Gilman Avenue in Marietta by Probation Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 11:08 am.

Lloyd Dale Nicholson, age 49, Beverly, for permitting drug abuse, a felony. Nicholson was picked up at SEPTA in Nelsonville by Deputy Sheriff Huffer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 11:19 am.

Derek Ryan Whytsell, age 31, 167 Vickers Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Whytsell was arrested on Barnett Ridge Road by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 5:05 pm.

James Clinton Bartimus, age 38, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for driving under a suspended license, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Bartimus was arrested at Dunham Square by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 8:45 pm.

Justin Daniel Deems, age 31, 725 Seventh Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Deems was arrested at the Comfort Inn by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 9:10 pm.

Larry Gale Thompson, age 29, 231 Faye Avenue, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at the Comfort Inn by Patrolman Wright of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 9:10 pm.

Eric Wayne Morris, age 30, 80 Smith Drive, Marietta, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug abuse instruments. Morris was arrested at the Comfort Inn by Detective Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 9:40 pm.

Samantha Jo Streight, age 23, 432 Douglas Avenue, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Streight was arrested at the Comfort Inn by Probation Officer Smith and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 12 at 10:00 pm.
