On 11 Mar 12 Deputy Sheriff McConnell responded to the scene of death of a thirty-four year old Marietta resident. The man appears to have died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. No foul play is suspected.

On 11 Mar 12 the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Beverly Department in an investigation into the breaking and entering of B&W Pharmacy at 501 Dietz Lane, Beverly. The suspect(s) gained entry into the building via the roof and escaped with undisclosed property after setting off the building’s alarm. The Beverly Police Department is conducting follow up investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Timothy Alan Collins, age 56, 34 Cherry Hill Lane, Belpre, for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors. Collins was arrested on Veto Road by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 12 at 1:13 am.

Bryan Michael Donoho, age 25, 613 Ninth Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Donoho was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 12 at 9:23 am.
