Archive of 02-14-12

On 14 Feb 12 a resident on State Route 821 in Lower Salem reported a Geo Tracker either broke down or was abandoned next to his driveway the previous day. Checking the vehicle’s VIN, Deputy Sheriff Holbert determined the vehicle was reported as stolen in Morgan County. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office arranged for the vehicle to be towed and will conduct follow up investigation.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Ashley N. Davis, age 24, 1110 Tenth Street, Parkersburg, for failing to appear for a hearing on 7 Feb 12.

Billy R. Gibson Jr., age 30, 2310 Plum Street, Parkersburg, for failing to appear for a hearing on 7 Feb 12.

Eric B. Siders, age 6070 Sandhill Road, Marietta, for failing to appear for a hearing on 7 Feb 12.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

John J. Sparks, age 39, Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Sparks turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 1:30 am.

Julie Rene Varhola, age 42, 400 Alderman Street, Marietta, for theft and for receiving stolen property, both felonies. Varhola turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff Huffer and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 8:43 am.

Robert Matthew Parrish, age 35, 76 Hazelwood Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Parrish was picked up at SEPTA by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 2:03 pm.

Andrew Brooks Beaver, age 30, 227 Sheldon Avenue, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Beaver was arrested at the office of Probation Officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 3:30 pm.

Richard Lee Nolan, age 38, 4843 15th Avenue, Parkersburg, for breaking and entering and theft, both felonies. Nolan was arrested in Belpre by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 4:15 pm.

John Lee Wyatt, age 55, 125 Maranatha Circle, Belpre, for tampering with evidence, a felony. Wyatt was arrested at his residence by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 4:23 pm.

Jonathan Paul Stringer, age 30, 410 Victoria Avenue, Parkersburg, for tampering with evidence, a felony. Stringer was arrested in Belpre by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 4:35 pm.

Gary Lynn Harris, age 21, 325 Main Street, Lower Salem, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Harris was arrested at the office of P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Feb 12 at 5:17 pm.
