On 13 Feb 12 Elizabeth J. Mitchell, age 61, 2459 State Route 821, Marietta, reported she was involved in an argument with her husband. Mrs. Mitchell said she was unhappy that her husband was intoxicated and spent the day with a friend of his she does not like. Responding by complaining about the way she kept their home, Mrs. Mitchell’s husband berated her while she cleaned dishes. Mrs. Mitchell phoned for help to avoid any further problems that evening. Interviewing both parties, Deputy Sheriff Caltrider concluded no act of domestic violence occurred.

On 13 Feb 12 the foster mother of a sixteen year old Warren High School student reported the teenager did not return home after class that afternoon. The teenager could not be located for the remainder of the evening but did appear for school the next day. The teenager’s probation will handle any punitive measures deemed necessary.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Stephania Amber Vinson, age 31, 8 McGary Avenue, Weston, WV, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Vinson was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 12 at 7:50 am.

Richard Carl Flood, age 46, 224 Fifth Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Flood was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Sams of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 12 at 1:43 pm.

Craig Alan Campbell, age 31, Marietta, for theft, a felony. Campbell was arrested on Deerwalk Circle in Devola by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 12 at 2:18 pm.

Nashlie Shinele McCown, age 21, 106 Lexington Avenue Apt. C, Chauncey, OH, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. McCown was arrested at the office of P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 12 at 4:40 pm.
