On 12 Feb 12 the Salem Fire Department transported Roger L. Moore, age 57, 5929 State Route 530, Lowell, to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment after he severed the tips of two of his fingers. Mr. Moore was operating what he called a “jointer” in the wood shop at his in-law’s residence at 6021 State Route 530, Lower Salem, when he severed the tips of his right middle and ring fingers above the first knuckle. Mr. Moore will be scheduled for release once surgical specialists suture the wounds (790).

On 12 Feb 12 Deputy Sheriff Carr and the Warren Fire Department were dispatched to a fire on the property of Myla Mitchem, age 55, at 885 Brush Road, Marietta. The blaze engulfed a barn housing a dozen Boer goats, straw and feed before it could be extinguished. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James E. Fraunfelter III, age 34, 22275 State Route 60, Beverly, for two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Fraunfelter was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 12 at 10:44 pm.

Tyrone Eugene Thompkins, age 22, 17 Osage Street, Zanesville, for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. Thompkins was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 12 at 1:45 am.

Jessica Marie Anderson, age 21, 21490 Kennedy Lane, Uniontown, PA, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 12 at 3:36 am.
