On 7 Feb 12 the Warren Fire Department transported Patrick A Dickinson, age 60, 107 Sharon Street, Marietta, to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment to an injury suffered at Eramet at 16705 State Route 7, Marietta. Another employee was operating a tracked piece of machinery when Mr. Dickinson believes he stepped too close to it. The vehicle caught and partially ran over Mr. Dickinson’s right leg. Emergency personnel said it appears Mr. Dickinson suffered a broken ankle or broken leg. No foul play is suspected (610).

On 7 Feb 12 Deputy Sheriff McConnell requested a summons for a sixteen year old Belpre resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. Despite being told by his father to remain at home, the teenager departed the home that afternoon and could not be located thereafter. The previous evening the juvenile also departed home without permission but was found at his girlfriend’s residence.

On 7 Feb 12 Loyde R. Stalnaker, age 49, 314 Main Street, New Matamoras, reported he is remodeling a home he purchased at 169 Front Drive, New Matamoras, and at some point between 15 and 22 Jan an unknown suspect(s) entered the home. Mr. Stalnaker said the suspect(s) stole Craftsman tools, a nail gun, a circular saw, a Sony amplifier and thirteen boxes of tile flooring. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 7 Feb 12 Beth A. Palmer, age 43, 128 Cornerstone Drive, Marietta, reported she reentered her home after starting her 2006 Ford Mustang and heard a noise shortly thereafter. When she looked outside, Ms. Palmer said she noticed her vehicle had rolled backwards out of her garage and crashed into the left side of the garage at 119 Cornerstone Drive. The collision caused moderate damage to the vehicle and the home (610).

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Timothy James Edwards, age 33, 110 Hall Road, Buchanan, WV, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Edwards turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Feb 12 at 8:02 pm.
