On 4 Feb 12 Barbara Farnsworth, age 39, 407 Fifth Street, Beverly, reported she was at work at Family Dollar in Beverly when the driver of an unknown vehicle struck her Nissan Altima. Between 7:45 and 10:00 that morning the driver of the unknown vehicle drove onto a curbed sidewalk and struck the front driver side fender of Ms. Farnsworth’s vehicle. This incident remains under investigation (597).

On 4 Feb 12 Lt. Stackpole and the Wesley Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire on property owned by Claire West, age 80, at 314 West Road, Cutler. Ms. West’s son said he was inside the home when he heard a popping noise and when he looked outside he noticed the barn was on fire. Two tractors and three tractor attachments were stored in the barn and deemed a total loss. A total of three fire departments responded and extinguished the fire without incident.

On 4 Feb 12 Deputy Sheriff Holbert responded to an altercation on Vickers Road in Belpre. Jacob Frame, age 21, 1746 State Route 339, Belpre, was visiting his sixteen year old girlfriend at the home when a friendly wrestling match evolved into an argument. During the argument, Mr. Frame said his girlfriend struck him in the head with an open hand. Mr. Frame stated he exited the residence and waited for a Deputy in the home’s driveway. Mr. Frame declined to pursue charges in the matter, only wanting a Deputy to assist him in retrieving property from inside the home.

On 4 Feb 12 Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Paula J. Rogers, age 46, 4 Baker Drive, New Matamoras, for driving under a suspended license. Lt. Rhodes stopped Ms. Rogers on State Route 7 near the Saint Marys bridge in Newport Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Courtiney Dawn McDonald, age 18, 5594 Auburn Road, Berea, WV, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. McDonald was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 1:47 am.

William Harlan Gillion, age 37, PO Box 414, Ridgewood, WV, for OVI and speeding, both misdemeanors. Gillion was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 2:53 am.

Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 30, 723 Eighth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Stevens was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 6:16 pm.

Anthony Wayne Mollica, age 46, 1201 Seminole Boulevard, Largo, FL, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of failure to reinstate his operator’s license and speeding. Mollica was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 10:20 pm.

David Aaron Hansen, age 34, State Route 800, Woodsfield, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Hansen was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 10:50 pm.

George Irven Whitehead Jr., age 62, Route 3 Box 377, Elizabeth, WV, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Whitehead was arrested on Cross Street by Patrolman Kirby of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 10:57 pm.

Anthony Jamal Pritchett, age 29, 12 Harris Street, Rochester, NY, for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Pritchett was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Feb 12 at 11:51 pm.
