On 1 Feb 12 Charles Randolph, age 74, 134 Sweetapple Road, Vincent, reported at some point since December 2011 an unknown suspect(s) stole the license plate off a utility trailer parked on his property. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 1 Feb 12 an employee of Pioneer Pipe, 2021 Hanna Road, Marietta, reported several days earlier another employee noticed 250 feet of welding wire was missing from a construction site at the Energizer Battery plant at 2036 Blue Knob Road, Marietta. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 1 Feb 12 Deputy Sheriff McConnell arrested Don R. Stollar, age 66, 1215 Huck Road, Lowell, for assault. Angry that he believed his on again/off again girlfriend was cheating on him, Mr. Stollar confronted her outside a residence on Wetzler Road in Lower Salem. The victim, Karolyn Cowell, age 47, 726 1/2 Third Street, Marietta, stated Mr. Stollar slammed her onto the hood of her car and slapped her in the face. Ms. Cowell also said that Mr. Stollar also threatened to “snap her neck.”

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David Lee McKee II, age 50, 47084 Cain Ridge Road, Clarington, OH, for assault, a misdemeanor. McKee was arrested on Barrett-South Road by Lt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 12:11 am.

Reed Mason Byers, age 19, 3309 Horseshoe Run Road, Parsons, WV, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Byers was arrested at the Locker Room by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 2:30 am.

Thomas Gale Little Jr., age 22, 1407 Station Drive, Saint Marys, for obstruction of justice and for possession of drugs, both misdemeanors. Little was arrested at the Locker Room by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 2:59 am.

Justin Edward Wolfe, age 18, 210 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Wolfe was arrested at the Locker Room by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 3:20 am.

Dustin Wade Slagle, age 19, 610 ½ Second Street, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Slagle was arrested at the Moose by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 3:35 am.

Annajane Elizabeth Deaton, age 27, 305 W. Second Street, Williamstown, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Deaton was arrested Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 5:00 am.

Don Raleigh Stollar, age 66, 1215 Huck Road, Lowell, for assault, a misdemeanor. Stollar was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 11:15 am.

Matthew Richard Jett, age 26, 189 Fourth Street, Lowell, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Jett turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 12 at 1:26 pm.
