On 31 Jan 12 Robert L. Starcher, age 33, 48836 Hillcrest Drive, Caldwell, reported at some point during the past twenty-four hours an unknown suspect(s) entered his deceased brother’s home at 21005 State Route 676, Marietta, and stole a thirty-two inch flat screen television. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 31 Jan 12 Janie D. Wise, age 37, 208 Upper Fifteenmile Creek Road, Wingett Run, reported her vehicle broke down in New Matamoras and while she was stranded in a parking lot three individuals accosted her. Ms. Wise said she’s had problems with the suspects for the past year and she was forced to retreat inside her car to avoid a physical confrontation. While she was inside her vehicle, Ms. Wise stated Michael D. Slonaker, age 28, 1216 Williamson Avenue Lot 44, New Matamoras, pounded on her window and threatened to beat her and send her to the hospital. In addition, Ms. Wise said Mr. Slonaker’s live-in girlfriend, Linda Lasure, age 29, bombarded her with derogatory comments. Based on Ms. Wise’s statement, Deputy Sheriff Holbert requested a warrant for Mr. Slonaker for menacing and a summons for Ms. Lasure for disorderly conduct. Deputy Holbert determined the third suspect did not commit and criminal offenses.

On 31 Jan 12 Lt. Gherke arrested David L. McKee II, age 50, 47084 Cain Ridge Road, Clarington, OH, for assault. Intoxicated and upset over an incident at work, Mr. McKee confronted his coworker Jeff Church, age 51, 1225 Barrett South Road, Vincent, at Mr. Church’s residence. As Mr. Church attempted to avoid a confrontation, Mr. McKee grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him backward. That caused the two to stumble over a porch swing and to fall off the porch onto a large pile of gravel.

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:
