On 14 Jan 12 a fifty-seven year old Belpre resident reported he has received a number of harassing and threatening phone calls during the past few weeks. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 14 Jan 12 Deputy Sheriff Underwood and the Little Hocking Fire Department were dispatched to a fire outside of the residence of Rosemary Cantley, age 48, at 1043 Gantsville Road, Little Hocking. The fire appears to have originated in a recently repaired hot tub on a deck behind the trailer. In addition to the hot tub being damaged, the trailer sustained minor damage to an exterior wall where firefighters checked for fire inside the walls.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

John Noah Lamp, age 58, 30 Westbranch Road, Little Hocking, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Lamp was picked up in Coolville by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Jan 12 at 2:05 am.

Tiler James Milligan, age 21, 202 Second Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Milligan was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Jan 12 at 2:55 am.
