On 2 Jan 12 Barbara A. Carver, age 45, 76 Saint
Andrews Boulevard, Belpre, reported she believes her nephew,
who resides with her, obtained her debit card and used it to
accrue $164 in charges on his Xbox since October. Questioned
about the charges, Bryan Pollmeier, age 19, admitted using the
debit card to purchase games. Consequently, Deputy Sheriff McConnell
arrested Mr. Pollmeier for theft and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.
On 2 Jan 12 Angela Evans, age 43, 775 Mount
Tom Road, Marietta, reported she was unable to find her prescription
bottle of Percocet pills that evening and believes it may have
been stolen by a relative who visited her home earlier in the
day. This case remains under investigation (208).
On 2 Jan 12 Natalie S. Joy, age 32, 109 Lockhart
Street, Belpre, reported she was involved in an altercation
with her husband, Jeffrey, age 41. Arguing over a past infidelity,
Mrs. Joy said her husband grew enraged after she stated she
was going to leave with their children. At that point, Mr. Joy
“flipped out,” threw a number of household items
and emptied the contents of his wife’s purse into a bathtub.
Mr. Joy then emptied a bottle of Powerade onto the items. Thereafter,
Mr. Joy threw his wife to the floor, grabbed her by the throat,
slapped her in the face and made a comment about having her
killed. Mr. Joy left the home but later turned himself in at
the Washington County Jail when Deputy Sheriff Smeeks informed
him he was being charged with domestic violence.
On 2 Jan 12 a Muskingum Township trustee reported
he was driving township roads checking for storm damage when
he discovered two bags of household trash near 333 Ash Road.
The trash bags, which did not contain any identifying items,
were discarded in an area without any nearby residences. This
case remains under investigation (597).
On 2 Jan 12 Debora K. Wingrove, age 56, 75
Vincent Street, Vincent, reported on 30 Dec the driver of an
unknown vehicle drove through her yard and over her inflatable
Christmas decorations. Ms. Wingrove said she did not report
the incident and put away the decorations but decided to file
a report after her yard was driven through again on 1 Jan. This
case remains under investigation (1293).

Santanna Maria Cutright, age 26, 210 ½
Fourth Street, Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Cutright was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Oliver of
the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Jan 12 at 10:37 am.
Mary Alexis Keating, age 21, 1217 Laird Avenue,
Parkersburg, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Keating was arrested in
Belpre by Patrolman Hunter of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 12 at
Heather Dawn Thompson, age 23, 116 Harmar Street,
Marietta, for theft and for obstructing official business, both
misdemeanors. Thompson was arrested by Patrolman Wenzel at the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Jan 12 at 9:44 pm.
