On 5 Dec 11 Tim Huck, age 55, 1260 Gun Club
Road, Lowell, reported sometime between 3 Dec and 5 Dec an unknown
suspect(s) entered a vacant rental property he owns at 5540
State Route 60, Marietta, and stole two entry doors he was storing
inside the home. This case remains under investigation (208).
On 5 Dec 11 an employee of Marietta Bulk, 14949
State Route 7, Marietta, reported sometime over the weekend
an unknown suspect(s) stole between six and eight batteries
from junked semi-trucks parked at the business. This case remains
under investigation (500).
On 5 Dec 11 Sara Thomas, age 45, 186 Orchard
Drive, Little Hocking, reported she was away from her home for
two hours that evening and at some point during that period
an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and stole a platinum
diamond ring, two bracelets, two necklaces, two rings and approximately
$300 in change. The total value of the stolen property is in
excess of $3,000. This case remains under investigation (1104).
On 5 Dec 11 a twenty-nine year old Marietta
resident reported the parent of a junior high student he coaches
in basketball angrily confronted him over his son’s perceived
lack of playing time following a game in New Matamoras the previous
day. The coach said the parent cursed at him, followed him and
wanted to “meet him in the parking lot.” The coach
stated he felt threatened by the parent’s actions and
felt he could cause physical harm. This case remains under investigation
On 5 Dec 11 Charles Gump, age 71, 798 Luke
Chute Road, Waterford, reported an acquaintance drove a Ford
truck off his property without permission. Mr. Gump agreed to
sell the truck to the acquaintance but said he did not give
him permission to drive the vehicle. The acquaintance returned
the truck and decided to not buy it because it had transmission
problems. This case remains under investigation (208).
On 5 Dec 11 Detective Schuck issued a citation
to Angela D. Brant, age 34, 130 Maple Street, Marietta, for
driving under an FRA suspended license, not using a turn signal
and for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Detective
Schuck stopped Ms. Brant near the intersection of Pike and Acme
streets in Marietta.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sondra Mandy Kay Paxton, age 21, 726 ½
Third Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Paxton was arrested in Marietta by Probation
Officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 5 Dec 11 at 12:10 pm.
Danique Wilson, age 39, 19405 Patton Street,
Detroit, MI, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Wilson
was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Dec 11 at
David Aaron Hansen, age 34, 832 Ridge Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Hansen was arrested at his residence by Patrolman McClelland
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 5 Dec 11 at 8:29 pm.
Robert Lee Lohr, age 20, 817 Grandview Avenue,
New Matamoras, for assault, resisting arrest, menacing and criminal
trespassing, all misdemeanors. Lohr was arrested in New Matamoras
by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 5 Dec 11 at 10:04 pm.
