On 25 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Caltrider requested a warrant for Gregory A. Leasure, age 24, 5380 State Route 260, New Matamoras, for domestic violence, criminal damaging and obstructing justice. Mr. Leasure resides with his grandmother, Joe Ann Speece, age 69, and was involved in an argument with her that afternoon. During the argument, Mr. Leasure was verbally abusive toward Ms. Speece and punched several in the walls. Ms. Speece stated her grandson’s behavior caused her to fear for her safety and said that she felt her grandson would attempt to harm her. Mr. Leasure fled the residence and evaded searches for him that afternoon.

On 25 Nov 11 Maxine Erb, age 70, 81 Greene Street, Newport, reported at some point after 1 pm the previous afternoon an unknown suspect entered her home and stole several Fentanyl patches and a handful of loose change. Speaking to witnesses, Deputy Sheriff Caltrider determined a likely suspect is a relative of Ms. Erb. Ms. Erb subsequently declined to pursue charges in the matter and said she would speak to the suspect’s parents.

On 25 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested summonses for Ryan L. Tucker, age 24, 1606 Hill Street Apt. B, Belpre, and Robert Summers, age 69, 1950 Ross Road, Little Hocking, for disorderly conduct. Visiting Mr. Summers’ residence with his girlfriend, who is Mr. Summers’ daughter, Mr. Tucker became embroiled in an argument with his girlfriend. Mr. Summers reportedly did not like the way Mr. Tucker was speaking to his daughter and injected himself into the argument, which was taking place outside the home. Exchanging curses with Mr. Summers as he sat in the driver seat of his vehicle, Mr. Tucker said Mr. Summers slammed the car door on his leg. Deputy Anderson concluded each party was equally at fault in the confrontation.

On 25 Nov 11 Gloria J. Marks, age 61, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 37, Beverly, reported her live-in boyfriend took her vehicle without her permission and she did not know what his destination was. Ms. Marks later said her boyfriend contacted her and was to return the car. She was unsure if she wanted to pursue charges in the case (208).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dennis Kay Pugh, age 34, 535 Second Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Pugh was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Nov 11 at 7:01 pm.

Randall Lee Neader, age 52, 111 Coventry Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Neader was arrested by Patrolman Nedeff at the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Nov 11 at 8:44 pm.

Corey Michael Miller, age 24, 669 Taylor Ridgeway, Palmyra, VA, for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Miller was arrested in Salem Township by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Nov 11 at 11:08 pm.
