Archive of 11-24-11

On 24 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Underwood responded to a report of a seventeen year old Little Hocking resident threatening to jump into traffic on US 50 near State Route 339. The teenager’s mother said her son has mental health issues and acting erratic that morning. While traveling in the vicinity of US 50 the teenager wanted out of the vehicle so the driver stopped and the juvenile jumped out of the car. Several motorists stopped and aided in calming the juvenile, who agreed to check into Camden Clark Hospital for treatment and evaluation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brian Smith Church, age 33, 1457 Poplar Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Church was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Jobes of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 11 at 2:30 am.

Ashley Jane Spears, age 32, 1359 Bald Eagle Road, Stockport, for a felony charge of illegal conveyance of items into a detention facility and misdemeanor charges of OVI, driving outside the marked lanes of travel and not wearing a seat belt. Spears was arrested on State Route 60 in Beverly by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 11 at 4:23 pm.

Stephanie Michelle Dotson, age 26, 803 Huggins Drive, Williamstown, for theft and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors. Dotson was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 11 at 8:50 pm.
