Archive of 11-19-11

On 19 Nov 11 an unknown, highly agitated male phoned WCSO Dispatch and stated his eighteen month old child, along with her mother/his live-in girlfriend at a trailer on State Route 676 with a nineteen year old male she was sleeping with. The caller, later identified as Joshua E. Taylor, age 30, 341 Raspberry Road, Waverly, WV, demanded that Deputies respond immediately and retrieve his daughter. If his order was not carried out Mr. Taylor threatened to kill someone and claimed that he wasn’t playing games. Lt. Hornbeck later responded to 6385 State Route 676, where he located Mr. Taylor’s girlfriend, Angel Lockhart, age 37. Ms. Lockhart stated Mr. Taylor was at the residence earlier, appeared highly intoxicated and demanded that she return with him to West Virginia. When she attempted to walk away from him, Mr. Taylor grabbed Ms. Lockhart by the hair. Ms. Lockhart struck Mr. Taylor in return and the two fell to the ground. Mr. Taylor subsequently fled the area and could not be located. As a result of the incident, Lt. Hornbeck requested warrants for Mr. Taylor for a felony charge of making terroristic threats and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.

On 19 Nov 11 the Wesley Fire Department transported a twenty-five year old Stockport resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital following a suicide attempt. The victim admittedly consumed half a pint of antifreeze following an argument with his pregnant girlfriend in an effort to kill himself. The victim, who did not suffer any ill effects from the ethylene glycol, was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for disorderly conduct.

On 19 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Metts arrested Tony C. Hendrickson, age 42, 124 Walnut Street, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. While visiting a friend on Oak Drive in Littler Hocking, Mr. Hendrickson imbibed copious amounts of alcohol and became highly agitated. Mr. Hendrickson yelled continuously and made several threatening comments but the homeowner stated they did not cause her to fear for her safety.

On 19 Nov 11 Bessie Schofield, age 70, 309 Simpson Street, Marietta, reported at some point during the past eight days an unknown suspect(s) stole over $300 from a small safe in her home. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 19 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Metts requested summonses for twelve and fourteen year old Macksburg residents to appear in Juvenile Court on charges of delinquency by disorderly conduct by fighting. Arguing over the television, the elder sibling shoved and struck his sister. She retaliated by throwing a deer call at her brother, who responded by striking his sister with a belt several times. The younger sibling retrieved a belt and struck her brother numerous times as well.

On 19 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested a summons for Thaddeus Heiss, age 49, 295 Offenberger Lane, Lowell, for allowing his cattle to remain at large. A neighbor reported Mr. Heiss’ cattle regularly escape their fencing and rummage through his soybean, corn and hay fields. That afternoon the neighbor corralled six cattle from his fields and placed them in a fenced area until Mr. Heiss could retrieve them.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Franklin Albert Frye, age 56, 4250 State Route 307 Lot 72, Geneva, OH, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of OVI, failure to reinstate his operator’s license, failure to obey the right of way, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Frye was arrested on Putnam Street by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Nov 11 at 12:03 am.

Tony Cameron Hendrickson, age 42, 124 Walnut Street, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hendrickson was arrested in Little Hocking by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Nov 11 at 1:09 am.

Travis Eugene Sparks, age 28, 3995 State Route 26, Marietta, for criminal damaging, a misdemeanor. Sparks was arrested on State Route 26 by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Nov 11 at 3:05 am.

Gregory Allen Hart, age 21, 442 Washington Street, Macksburg, for theft, a felony. Hart was arrested at his residence by Lt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Nov 11 at 9:58 am.

Ciara Marie Cavallier, age 23, 415 Franklin Street, Marietta, for two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of her probation. Cavallier was arrested on Franklin Street by Patrolman Hupp of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Nov 11 at 11:52 am.
