On 5 Nov 11 Deputy Sheriff Metts and the New
Matamoras Fire Department responded to a garage fire at 6110
State Route 260, New Matamoras. The fire was a mere five feet
from the residence of Dennis Tepe, age 49, but did not spread
to the home because the wind was blowing the flames in the opposite
direction. Mr. Tepe and a neighbor were able to move three vehicles
from the garage before they were damaged but additional property
in the garage was a total loss. The State Fire Marshal’s
Office was contacted to identify the cause of the fire.

refused to submit to field sobriety tests but did admit consuming

by intoxication and for underage consumption of alcohol. After
imbibing libations earlier in the evening Mr. Gaskins said his
