Archive of 10-30-11

On 30 Oct 11 Jessica M. Hanson, age 21, 14841 Crooked Tree Road, Beverly, was transported to Selby Hospital and later transferred to OSU Medical Center after being bitten in the face by a dog. Ms. Hanson was visiting friends at 165 Zimmer Road, Marietta when she bent down to pet the home’s Siberian husky-mixed breed dog. The dog apparently was startled and bit Ms. Hanson in the face. Ms. Hanson was not seriously injured but was transported to Columbus to repair cosmetic damage to her upper lip and the bridge of her nose. The incident appears to be accidental, however the Humane Officer took custody of the dog as part of a mandatory ten day quarantine (707).

On 30 Oct 11 Lt. Hornbeck issued a citation to Deborah S. Craft, age 53, 1199 Brick School Road, Gallipolis, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Hornbeck stopped Ms. Craft on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in Dunham Township.

On 30 Oct 11 Sgt. Norman arrested Danielle R. Huck, age 31, 31 Allen Lane, Waterford, for assault. Ms. Huck’s boyfriend, Daniel E. Hendrickson Jr., age 24, 765 Gravel Bank Road, Marietta, reported that morning that Ms. Huck woke him by attacking him. Arguing over the fact that Ms. Huck drove after drinking, Mr. Hendrickson said he was force to restrain his girlfriend by grabbing her wrists.

On 30 Oct 11 Jeffery Mosier, age 45, 209 Second Street, Lower Salem, reported when he arrived home that evening he noticed an individual pushed in a window on his front door in an unsuccessful attempt to enter his home. This case remains under investigation (208).

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Danielle Rae Huck, age 25, 31 Allen Lane, Waterford, for two misdemeanor counts of assault. Huck was arrested at 765 Gravel Bank Road by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 11 at 6:07 am.
