On 24 Oct 11 Cory Wagner, age 24, 29 Garage Lane, Waterford, reported Regina Hoover, age 47, 337 Wells Road, Waterford, was pounding on the back door of his residence. Mr. Wagner has a protection order against Ms. Hoover that forbids her from coming within 500 feet of him. Departing the scene prior to the arrival of Deputy Sheriff Carr, Ms. Hoover was found passed out in grass behind a Laundromat in Beverly. Appearing intoxicated, Ms. Hoover admitted being on Mr. Wagner’s property but claimed she was attempting to contact someone else at the residence. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Ms. Hoover for violating the terms of a protection order and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 24 Oct 11 Lt. Hornbeck and Deputy Sheriff Reeder responded to a domestic dispute involving Karissa Harris, age 19, and her live-in boyfriend, Corrie Hague, age 20, at their residence at 27360 State Route 7 Lot 25, Marietta. Though both parties denied any physical altercation took place, Ms. Harris later said she awoke Mr. Hague after discovering text messages from another woman on his mobile phone. The two began yelling at each other and Mr. Hague struck Ms. Harris in the face and arms. Battling toward their bedroom door, the couple knocked a mirror off a wall. At that point Ms. Harris struck Mr. Hague in the face with the mirror, breaking his nose. The Deputies concluded Mr. Hague and Ms. Harris were equal aggressors in the incident and arrested both for domestic violence.

On 24 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested John N. Wooten, age 20, 21149 Chapman Road, Guysville, for aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment. On 24 Oct 11 Sgt. Tornes requested a summons for Stephanie L. Sklenar, age 44, 311 Harmar Street, Marietta, for passing a bad check. Ms. Sklenar signed a check and permitted a friend to use the check to purchase a Great Pyrenees dog from a Vincent resident in June of this year. The check was returned for nonsufficient funds and Ms. Sklenar ignored the victim’s repeated attempts to recoup the funds.
