Archive of 10-22-11

On 22 Oct 11 Corey Miller, age 25, 300 Starlite Drive Lot 15, Marietta, reported he was involved in a minor altercation with his live-in girlfriend. During a dispute over a computer, Mr. Miller said his girlfriend struck him in the arms. He said he was not injured and did not fear for his safety. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Reeder closed this case as unfounded.

On 22 Oct 11 Lt. Hornbeck arrested Jamie D. Hill, age 35, Route 2 Box 85B, Harrisville, WV, for OVI and for not using his headlights. Stopped on Pike Street around 11 pm for tailgating another vehicle and for not using his headlights, Mr. Hill had a strong odor of alcohol. Mr. Hill was unsteady on his feet, slurred his speech and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Admitting his inebriety while being booked into the Washington County Jail, Mr. Hill stated “I’m totally wasted.” He tested .243 BAC.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Gregory Hayes Jones Jr., age 25, 29525 Catawba Street, Wickliffe, OH, for OVI, possession of drugs and speeding, all misdemeanors. Jones was arrested near milepost eight on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 11 at 2:05 am.

Robert Lee Lohr, age 20, 712 Fourth Street, New Matamoras, for criminal damaging, a misdemeanor. Lohr was arrested on Fourth Street by Patrolman Freed of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 11 at 3:11 am.

Erica Lea Thieman, age 20, 12 Painters Crossing, Williamstown, for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Thieman was arrested on Fourth Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 11 at 3:26 am.
