On 20 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Schubert requested summonses for Michelle Casto, age 38, and Russell Burkhammer, age 38, both of 425 County House Lane, Marietta, for menacing. An employee of AEP was at the couple’s residence to shut of the home’s electric due to nonpayment when Mr. Burkhammer exited the home and began to scream at him. Mr. Burkhammer grew irate and threatened to release his dogs if the electric was shut off. Ms. Casto subsequently exited the residence as well and yelled at Mr. Burkhammer to release the dogs. A neighbor heard the commotion and observed one dog chasing after the AEP employee. He escaped without injury.

On 20 Oct 11 Lynn A. Erb, age 41, 2510 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect(s) removed the headlights from her 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Ms. Erb stated the vehicle was at Summers Motors receiving repairs when the theft took place. She declined to pursue the matter further (208).

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Carl Adrian Huggins, age 51, 219 Shamrock Avenue, Mingo Junction, OH, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Huggins was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Oct 11 at 12:54 pm.
