Archive of 10-19-11

On 19 Oct 11 the Little Hocking Fire Department transported Craig A. Parsons, age 52, 253 Orchard Drive, Little Hocking, to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment to injury suffered at CAP Transport at 273 Orchard Drive. Mr. Parsons was welding without wearing a protective hood when he suffered burns to his eyes. He was treated with eye drops and released from the hospital (790).

On 19 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Carr issued a citation to Derek J. Miller, age 18, 235 Hayes Road, Vincent, for traveling 40 mph in a 20 mph school zone. Deputy Carr stopped Mr. Miller on State Route 676 near St. John’s Pre-School in Watertown Township.

On 19 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Deem requested a warrant for Keith A. Nibert, age 49, 211 Center Street, Waterford, for failing to register his address as a registered sex offender. Convicted in Washington County of sexual imposition, Mr. Nibert did not report his new address when he moved to Waterford from Gallia County. Deputy Deem also determined Mr. Nibert’s residence is within too close of a distance to Waterford High School.

On 19 Oct 11 Rosalie Nething, age 53, 50051 State Route 78, Clarington, OH, was traveling northbound on State Route 7 when she struck a deer near Waugh Street in Newport. Ms. Nething’s vehicle sustained nonfunctional damage (208).

On 19 Oct 11 Michael A. Hubbard, age 44, 354 Stanley Mills Road, Little Hocking, reported sometime between 10 Oct and 11 Oct an unknown suspect(s) entered his residence and stole approximately fifty of his hydrocodone pills. Mr. Hubbard commented he attempted to endure his pain without the pills and waited to report the theft but his pain became unbearable. This case remains under investigation (1104).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Cynthia A. Allen, age 24, 3818 Liberty Street Apt. 1, Parkersburg, for failing to appear at the jail on 17 Oct 11 to serve sentences for criminal trespassing and two counts of theft.

Renee Baldwin, age 31, 909 Hocking Road, Belpre, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

John L. Clark, age 40, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for resisting arrest on 15 Oct 11.

Randall R. Cline, age 19, 600 Reed Road, Parkersburg, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear in court on 7 Oct 11.

Salvatore R. Decaria, age 33, 403 Suite View Drive, Ripley, WV, for failing to appear for pretrial on 17 Oct 11.

Dennis C. Freeman, age 28, 35332 Hanson Road, Beverly, for driving under a suspended license, operating a vehicle with fictitious registration and not wearing a seat belt on 30 Sep 11.

Dixie Huffman, age 48, 10 State Route 339, Belpre, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

Brenda Watson, age 50, 1751 Darnold Road, Vincent, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ryan Graham Matheny, age 25, 233 Hillcrest Drive Apt. D, Marietta, for OVI, driving under an FRA suspended license, operating a vehicle without a license and speeding, all misdemeanors. Matheny was arrested near milepost seventeen on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Oct 11 at 2:37 am.

Jason Travis Wells, age 32, 1600 Montgomery Avenue, Ashland, KY, for OVI, for contempt for failing to pay fines and for failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Wells turned himself in at Marietta Municipal Court and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Oct 11 at 10:27 am.
