Archive of 10-18-11

On 18 Oct 11 Richard Sheets, age 61, 2869 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered his truck and stole two gasoline credit cards that belong to his employer. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 18 Oct 11 Joshua D. Campbell, age 26, 840 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, reported he believes his estranged wife entered the camper where he lives and stole a total of $200 from various locations in his home. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 18 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Metts arrested Christopher S. McLeod, age 44, 114 Devol Drive, Marietta, for criminal damaging. A week earlier Mr. McLeod’s mother, Martha, age 63, 112 Devol Drive, reported she believed her son was throwing rocks at her windows as she slept during the night. Ms. McLeod stated her son was upset that she kicked him out of her house and subsequently discovered holes in her windows and window screens and found BBs on her window sills. When Mr. McLeod was arrested, Deputy Metts located a BB gun leaning against the wall beside the home’s front door.

On 18 Oct 11 the Reno Fire Department transported a fifty-one year old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment following a suicide attempt. The victim attempted to take her own life by ingesting an overdose of her prescription medications. She was scheduled to undergo further treatment and evaluation (1184).

On 18 Oct 11 Timothy D. Miller, age 60, 1075 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported he was threatened by a friend at Byer’s Exxon that morning. Mr. Miller said his friend grew irate after being taunted about hunting a deer and threatened to shoot him. Mr. Miller only wanted the incident noted and did not desire to pursue charges in the matter (1007, 1184).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Kenneth Dean Treadway III, age 32, 311 Harmar Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Treadway was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Oct 11 at 10:10 am.

Alison Blake Seevers, age 24, 632 Lovers Lane, Beverly, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Seevers was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Oct 11 at 11:32 am.

Christopher Shawn McLeod, age 44, 112 Devol Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation and for criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. McLeod was arrested in Oak Grove by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Oct 11 at 12:07 pm.

Stephanie Ann Ahart, age 24, 1413 King Street, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Ahart was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Stump of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Oct 11 at 12:39 pm.
