On 15 Oct 11 Rebecca Williams, 601 Eyermann road, Belpre, reported her GMC Yukon was parked in her driveway when the driver of a dark colored Jaguar pulled into her driveway and struck its rear bumper. The driver of the Jaguar then departed the scene without notifying Ms. Williams. This incident remains under investigation (500).

On 15 Oct 11 Jennifer Thornton, age 38, 15374 State Route 555, Cutler, reported she was picking up her boyfriend’s truck at a residence on Two Mile Run Road when one of the home’s residents assaulted her and her teenage daughter. Ms. Thornton suffered swelling around her right eye as a result of the attack by the female assailant and her pregnant daughter was admitted to the hospital after complaining of abdominal pain. Deputy Sheriff McConnell is attempting to arrange an interview with the suspect to further clarify the incident.

On 15 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks requested a warrant for John L. Clark, age 40, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for resisting arrest. At the residence to serve an arrest warrant on Mr. Clark for a felony charge of domestic violence, Deputy Smeeks observed Mr. Clark climbing out of a back window. Mr. Clark fled into a wooded area on foot and escaped after Deputy Smeeks slipped on a wet leaves and mud.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Amber Linn Farnsworth, age 18, 12834 State Route 339, Vincent, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested near the intersection of Oak Hill Road and Pugh Road in Stockport by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 11 at 1:36 am.

Kacie Lynae Wears, age 18, 12915 State Route 676, Waterford, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Wears was arrested near the intersection of Oak Hill Road and Pugh Road in Stockport by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 11 at 1:36 am.

Dean Allan Miller, age 18, 12834 State Route 339, Vincent, for .02 breath underage OVI and for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. Miller was arrested near the intersection of Oak Hill Road and Pugh Road in Stockport by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 11 at 2:23 am.

Chad Alan Offenberger, age 18, 4205 Buchanan Road, Waterford, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Offenberger was arrested near the intersection of Oak Hill Road and Pugh Road in Stockport by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 11 at 2:24 am.

David Aaron Hansen, age 34, 832 Ridge Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hansen was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 11 at 4:35 pm.

Gennia Marie Carte, age 47, 130 Maple Street, Newport, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Carte was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McLeish and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 11 at 8:40 pm.
