On 13 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Metts requested
a summons for a fifteen year old Little Hocking resident to
appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager does
not get along with her mother’s live-in boyfriend and
yells constantly. The teenager’s mother also said her
daughter refuses to obey household rules and frequently skips
On 13 Oct 11 Jacqualyn Thatcher, age 33, 5711
Null Road, Coolville, reported her estranged husband assaulted
her when she dropped off their eleven year old son at his residence
at 5257 Welch Road, Little Hocking. Appearing angry as soon
as his wife arrived, Robert Thatcher, age 50, stormed toward
her vehicle. As his son opened the passenger side door, Mr.
Thatcher reached across him and forcefully grabbed his wife’s
arm. Ms. Thatcher attempted to avoid her husband by moving her
vehicle but was unable to do so. Irate and yelling, Mr. Thatcher
also grabbed his wife by the face and forced her against her
seat. Mr. Thatcher admitted grabbing his wife but claimed he
only did so to get her to stop the vehicle. Based on his investigation,
Deputy Sheriff Underwood arrested Mr. Thatcher for domestic
violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 13 Oct 11 a forty-three year old Lowell
resident reported her teenage daughter asked an unknown female
call her in sick so she could skip school at the Washington
County Career Center. The mother said at no time did she give
permission for the woman to use her name to phone the school.
This case remains under investigation (1007).

Anthony Roger Fulton, age 21, 523 Second Street
Apt. 1, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Fulton was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman
Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 11 at 4:09 am.
Robert Markus Thatcher, age 50, 5259 Welch
Road, Little Hocking, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
