On 12 Oct 11 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested a summons for Herbert L. Nunn II, age 37, 234 Pam Road, New Matamoras, for telecommunications harassment. Previously informed he was not to contact his estranged wife, Mr. Nunn either phoned or text messaged his thirty-six year old wife a total of thirty-three times in a two day span.

On 12 Oct 11 Joseph L. Payne, age 57, 5260 State Route 26, Marietta, reported when he arrived home from work at 2 pm he noticed the front door of his residence was pried open. Taking inventory of their belongings, Mr. Payne’s wife stated a number of pills were missing from her prescription bottles as well as half a carton of cigarettes, old currency and a pair of diamond earrings. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 12 Oct 11 Jessica Ash, age 25, 202 Faye Avenue, Marietta, was traveling northbound on County House Lane when she swerved to the left to avoid a deer and struck the guardrail on the southbound side. The vehicle crossed back into the northbound lane and came to rest approximately .1 miles north of 585 County House Lane. Neither Ms. Ash nor her two young passengers suffered injury. Her Chevy Lumina sustained severe damage (594).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Myria Anthony Yeager, age 19, 2609 Progress Ridge, Walker, WV, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Yeager was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 11 at 9:04 am.

Christina Kay Boles, age 41, 228 Hunts Avenue, Barnesville, OH, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Boles was arrested in Common Pleas Court by Deputy Sheriff Deem and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 11 at 12:24 pm.

Brandon Eric Sexton, age 33, Route 3 Box 186G, Bridgeport, WV, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Sexton was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 11 at 10:20 pm.
