Archive of 10-07-11

On 7 Oct 11 the Little Hocking Fire Department transported Wayne O. Cornell, age 43, 99 Gantsville Road, Little Hocking, to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained in a fall from ten to twelve feet. Mr. Cornell was working on scaffolding in his garage when he lost his footing. During the fall, Mr. Cornell attempted to catch himself with his arm and suffered a broken wrist. Mr. Cornell also complained of back pain but escaped serious injury (610).

On 7 Oct 11 Jason E. England, age 36, 969 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, reported he was away from his residence between 7:45 am and 9:15 pm and sometime during that period an unknown suspect(s) entered his home and stole a prescription bottle containing three Percocet pills. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 7 Oct 11 an employee of Pioneer City Auto Parts, 131 Schultheis Lane, Marietta, reported when he arrived at work that morning he noticed the chain was cut from the gate to the business’ scrap yard and a number of items were missing. The employee said thirty radiators, two sets of running boards and approximately twenty-five pounds of copper wire were stolen. This case remains under investigation (594).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Albert Bell, age 19, 10 Browns Road Apt. 4B, Marietta, for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $725.40.

Timothy J. Edwards, age 32, 287 Tobin School Road, Smithfield, PA, for failing to appear for jury trial on 29 Sep 11.

Cody A. Wayt, age 20, 449 Market Street, Wheeling, for receiving stolen property on 20 Jul 10.

Sharon A. Baumgard, 110 Baumgard Road, Vincent, for failing to file Marietta City income taxes for the tax year 2009.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Christopher Robert Karcher, age 32, 217 Emerald Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of trafficking in drugs and misdemeanor charges of driving under a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt. Karcher was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Major Crimes Task Force and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Oct 11 at 12:02 am.

David Aaron Hansen, age 34, 832 Ridge Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Hansen was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Oct 11 at 1:03 am.

William Edward Foreman, age 36, 804 Front Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct and theft, both misdemeanors. Foreman was arrested on Muskingum Drive by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Oct 11 at 2:02 am.

Angela Kay Rowland, age 41, 100 Lincoln Circle Apt. 2, Marietta, for disorderly conduct and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Rowland was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Oct 11 at 2:59 am.

Thomas Hilton Bailey Jr., age 46, 83 Watson Lane, Belpre, for menacing by stalking, criminal trespassing and assault, all misdemeanors. Bailey was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Kirby of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Oct 11 at 7:16 am.
