On 30 Sep 11 an employee of C&C Dodge reported
a customer traded in an SUV with extra stereo equipment on 17
Sep and the salesman that accepted the trade in removed the
stereo equipment and kept it for himself. This case remains
under investigation (208).
On 30 Sep 11 Joseph G. Reynolds, age 63, 1500
Braun Road, Belpre, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s)
entered his garage and removed a medical “sharps”
container from his vehicle. Mr. Reynolds said the container
is used to dispose of used diabetic needles and various other
items used to collect blood. This case remains under investigation
On 30 Sep 11 Tammie Ruth, age 47, 1630 Braun
Road, Belpre, reported at some point during the past day an
unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her
purse. Additionally, residents at 1610 and 1660 Braun Road reported
their vehicles were entered as well and their wallets were stolen.
This case remains under investigation (507).
On 30 Sep 11 an employee of Yellow Trucking
Company, 300 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, reported for the fourth
time in the past month an unknown suspect(s) removed the lock
and chain from the company’s front gate. This case remains
under investigation (507).
On 30 Sep 11 Robin L. Adams, age 22, 3205 State
Route 26, Marietta, reported two or three days earlier she and
her husband were arguing over their marital problems and he
threatened to “knock her teeth down her throat.”
Mrs. Adams stated she was not afraid at the time her husband
made the threat but the more she thought about it the more she
believed he may have punched her. Upon concluding his interviews
of both parties, Lt. Stackpole closed this case as unfounded.
On 30 Sep 11 Cathy A. Worstell, age 54, 1910
Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, reported she was having a garage
sale at her storage building at 4635 State Route 339, Vincent,
when she became involved in an argument with two of her friends.
Ms. Worstell said her female friend called her a derogatory
name and threatened to punch her in the mouth but she stated
the comments did not cause her to fear for her safety. Ms. Worstell
declined to pursue charges in the matter (507).
On 30 Sep 11 Daniel E. Hendrickson II, age
24, 765 Gravel Bank Road, Marietta, reported he was involved
in an argument with his father that escalated into a physical
confrontation. Mr. Hendrickson said his father was intoxicated
and when he asked him a simple question he flew off the hook.
During the argument in their garage, Daniel Sr., age 57, threw
an end table at his son and attempted to punch him. As the two
exited the garage the elder Hendrickson again tried to strike
his son, at which point his son tackled him to the ground. The
two then exchanged blows and separated shortly thereafter. Another
family member at the scene heard the fracas and phoned for help
after Daniel Sr. stated he was going to blow his son’s
head off. Daniel Sr. was uncooperative and defensive when Lt.
Gherke and Deputy Holbert arrived and repeatedly ignored the
Deputies’ requests. A brief struggle with Daniel Sr. followed
before the Deputies were able to detain him. As a result of
the incident, Deputy Holbert arrested Daniel Sr. for domestic
violence and obstructing official business and transported him
to the Washington County Jail.

Mary Margaret Warren, age 61, 209 ½
Second Street Lot 5, Beverly, for four misdemeanor counts of
passing bad checks. Warren turned herself in to Corrections
Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
30 Sep 11 at 12:33 am.
Weston Charles Hickman, age 18, 96 Federal
Road, Little Hocking, for criminal trespassing and theft, both
misdemeanors. Hickman was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Kirby
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 30 Sep 11 at 1:09 pm.
Jeramia Kemp Brandy, age 22, 280 Jett Hill
Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Brandy was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Sep 11 at 4:30 pm.
Daniel E. Hendrickson Sr., age 57, 775 Gravel
Bank Road, Marietta, for domestic violence and obstructing official
business, both misdemeanors. Hendrickson was arrested at his
residence by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Sep 11 at 8:42 pm.
