On 17 Sep 11 the Fearing Fire Department transported an eight year old Parkersburg resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital following a motorcycle accident at 2460 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta. The juvenile was riding his dirt bike on the property when he said he struck a pothole. Wearing full safety equipment, the juvenile suffered only a minor neck sprain (107).

On 17 Sep 11 Joshua Schofield, age 22, 1683 Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, reported a 2000 Chevy Cavalier was stolen from outside his residence on 12 Sep. This case remains under investigation (1097).

On 17 Sep 11 Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Philip C. Coyner, age 36, 135 Oakmont Drive, Belpre, for passing on a double yellow line. Lt. Rhodes observed Mr. Coyner passing another vehicle on a double yellow line on State Route 618 near Kraton Polymers Park in Belpre Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David C. MacClymont Jr., age 43, 111 Montgomery Street, Marietta, for OVI and for failure to obey a traffic control device, both misdemeanors. MacClymont was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Sep 11 at 3:09 am.

Misty Dawn Hicks, age 35, 1295 Watertown Road, Waterford, for OVI, for failing to reinstate her operator’s license and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors. Hicks was arrested on Gilman Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Sep 11 at 5:00 am.

Sue Roy Drummond, age 37, 8909 Crews Lane, Chesterhill, for misconduct at an emergency, criminal damaging and assault, all misdemeanors. Drummond was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Sep 11 at 7:20 am.
