On 31 Aug 11 the caretaker for a property owned by Nelson Rodriguez, age 55, 41999 Debra Drive, Elyria, OH, reported when he visited the property at 1101 Davis Hill Road, Reno, he noticed a window on the hunting cabin was broken. Upon closer inspection, the caretaker said he noticed five large solar panels were missing from the roof and a number of electrical wires around the cabin were cut. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 31 Aug 11 Eudora J. Fisher, age 39, 334 1/2 Third Street, Marietta, was life-flighted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus after she fell down a twenty foot embankment. Fading in and out of consciousness, Ms. Fisher said she was cooking beans at a cookout at 6380 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, when she lost her footing and fell. No foul play is suspected in the incident (790).

On 31 Aug 11 the L-A Fire Department transported a seventeen year old Lowell resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment to burn injuries. The teenager was attempting to re-light a propane grill when the gas ignited and flashed into his face. The victim was treated for minor burns to his left cheek and left ear and released from the hospital (790).

On 31 Aug 11 Deputy Sheriffs Mankins and Metts responded to the scene of death of a ninety-two year old Marietta resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 31 Aug 11 Deputy Sheriff Anderson arrested Traci L. Schwendeman, age 39, 205 Bohl Drive, Marietta, for using deception to obtain a dangerous drug. Five days earlier Ms. Schwendeman phoned White Oak Pharmacy under the guise that she was employed at a doctor’s office and attempted to call in a Xanax prescription for herself. Not recognizing the name Ms. Schwendeman used when calling from a doctor’s office he frequently deals with and believing something was amiss, the pharmacist phoned the doctor’s office. The doctor’s office confirmed the pharmacist’s suspicions and did not fill the prescription.

On 31 Aug 11 Deputy Sheriffs Mankins and Metts encountered a vehicle they later determined was operated by a driver with an OVI suspended license. Making contact with the driver, Jason Treadway, age 38, 5222 Scott Road, Stockport, at the Beverly boat ramp, Deputy Mankins noticed Mr. Treadway was slightly unsteady on his feet. Mr. Treadway acknowledged knowing that his license was suspended and admitted drinking two beers earlier in the evening. He subsequently passed field sobriety tests. Next to the front seat passenger, Eric Treadway, age 43, 5200 Scott Road, Stockport, Deputy Mankins observed an open can of Busch beer, which Mr. Treadway admitted consuming in the vehicle. Consequently, he was arrested for consuming alcohol n a vehicle. Along with Jason Treadway, who was arrested for driving under an OVI suspended license, Eric Treadway was transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brandon Michael Firm, age 22, 1260 County House Lane Apt. B, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI and for failing to obey the right of way, both misdemeanors. Firm was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 3:28 am.

Rebekah Mary Jean Webb, age 20, 1111 Colonial Drive, Marietta, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Webb was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 10:30 am.

Eric Brent Dickinson Sr., age 48, 310 Hague Avenue, Columbus, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Dickinson was picked up in Franklin County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 11:55 am.

Traci Lea Schwendeman, age 39, 205 Bohl Drive, Marietta, for using deception to obtain a dangerous drug, a felony. Schwendeman was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 3:58 pm.

Robert James Parlin Jr., age 30, 1017 16th Street, Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license and for failing to obey the right of way at a red light, both misdemeanors. Parlin was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 4:30 pm.

Eric Lee Treadway, age 43, 5200 Scott Road, Stockport, for consuming alcohol in a vehicle, a misdemeanor. Treadway was arrested in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 8:27 pm.

Jason Wayne Treadway, age 38, 5222 Scott Road, Stockport, for driving under an OVI suspended license, a misdemeanor. Treadway was arrested in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Aug 11 at 8:35 pm.
