On 13 Aug 11 a seventeen year old Waterford
resident reported he was involved in an argument with his father
and during the argument the teenager claimed his father punched
him in the face and broke a remote control on his head. The
teenager’s father admitted he was involved in an argument
with his son because the two of them were stressed out and he
did not feel his son was not taking care of his responsibilities.
The juvenile’s father denied striking his son, a claim
that was substantiated by the juvenile’s mother. Additionally,
Deputy Sheriff Anderson observed the supposed broken remote
was intact and that the juvenile did not appear to have any
injuries. As a result, Deputy Anderson closed this case as unfounded.
