On 7 Jul 11 a guest at 2396 Woodruff Road, Vincent, reported another visitor at the residence crashed into her car as he was leaving in his vehicle. Other witnesses stated Jonathan P. Angus, age 30, 4081 Veto Road, Vincent, was already intoxicated when he arrived at a party at that location and continued to drink while he was there. Ignoring numerous requests to sleep off his drunkenness, Mr. Angus entered his vehicle, drove around the property and at some point backed into another vehicle. When Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrived at the scene, Mr. Angus quickly sped away but stopped less than two miles after Deputy Smeeks gave chase. Visibly intoxicated, Mr. Angus claimed he only consumed five or six beers and refused to perform sobriety tests. Based on his observations, Deputy Smeeks arrested Mr. Angus for felony OVI and transported him to the Washington County Jail. The OVI charge is a felony due to the fact that Mr. Angus has five previous OVI convictions within the past twenty years.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Anthony Roger Fulton, age 21, 523 Second Street Apt. 1, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Fulton was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 11 at 1:10 am.
