On 4 Aug 11 a nurse at the Washington County Home, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, reported she watched as one resident, Brad I. Bloomfield, age 46, removed a pill from a plastic bag and handed it to another resident. Prescription medications are dispensed by employees at the home and its residents are not to be in possession of any medication. Confronted by the nurse, Mr. Bloomfield handed the nurse a bag containing four Percocet pills and a morphine pill. When he was later questioned by Deputy Sheriff Reeder, Mr. Bloomfield produced a bottle containing thirty Xanax pills. Consequently, Deputy Reeder arrested Mr. Bloomfield for two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of possession of drugs and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
