On 15 Jul 11 Danita Stegner, age 39, 752 Luke Chute Road, Waterford, reported she returned to her residence after an evening at a bar with her friend, Christy Denton, age 40, 58 Wilson Street, Beverly, when Ms. Denton’s live-in boyfriend William Lucas, age 37, and demanded to be allowed inside. Ms. Stegner stated Mr. Lucas forced his way past her when she opened the door and she attempted to hasten his departure by swinging a rolling pin at him. A struggle over the rolling pin ensued, during which Ms. Stegner said Mr. Lucas struck her. When Ms. Denton fronted Mr. Lucas he grabbed her, dragged her to his vehicle and attempted to force her inside. Mr. Lucas released Ms. Denton after Ms. Stegner struck his truck with a shovel. The victims said they then feared that Mr. Lucas with his vehicle. Consequently, Sgt. Norman arrested Mr. Lucas for domestic violence and assault and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 15 Jul 11 Ray M. Danner, age 49, 4650 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported when he reviewed the statements for two of his credit cards he discovered his information was used to accrue $204 in charges on iTunes. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 15 Jul 11 Shoshana Handschumaker, age 27, 2396 Woodruff Road, Vincent, reported the previous morning she noticed her child support debit card was missing from her purse. Ms. Handschumaker said a few friends, including Raven Andrews, age 20, 3404 Hemlock Street Apt. 3, Parkersburg, spent the night at her home and she suspects Ms. Andrews stole the card. Learning the card was used at Par Mar in Barlow, Deputy Sheriff Carr obtained security footage for the time of the transaction and Ms. Handscumaker identified the suspect in the footage as Ms. Andrews. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Carr requested a warrant for Ms. Andrews for misuse of a credit card.

On 15 Jul 11 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested a summons for Brandon M. Schmidt, age 21, 416 Mulberry Lane, Marietta, for unauthorized use of a vehicle. A week ago Mr. Schmidt allegedly took a friend’s vehicle from a party they were attending at a home in Little Hocking. At the party Mr. Schmidt reportedly phoned for a ride and later commented that if his ride was not there in twenty minutes he was going to steal his friend’s car. The vehicle was later found crashed and abandoned at the Virginia Street exit on State Route 7.

On 15 Jul 11 Sgt. Hornbeck issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Cristal D. Coon, age 29, 714 Gladstone Street, Parkersburg, for disorderly conduct. While Detectives were interviewing witnesses during the execution of a search warrant at S&J Incense, Ms. Coon repeatedly interrupted them and refused to follow instructions. As Sgt. Hornbeck physically escorted Ms. Coon from the scene she remained combative and was verbally abusive.

On 15 Jul 11 Deputy Sheriff Anderson responded to the scene of death of a seventy-five year old Summerfield, OH resident. The victim was found laying next his vehicle near the intersection of State Route 555 and Whealdon Road in Wesley Township. Though no foul play is suspected, this case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Christopher Charles Allen, age 39, 5091 Three Mile Drive, Detroit, MI, for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Allen was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 3:11 am.

William Brian Lucas, age 37, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 4, Beverly, for domestic violence and assault, both misdemeanors. Lucas was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 4:51 am.

Kiel Andrew Lee Dalrymple, age 18, 117 Ohio Boulevard, Marietta, for possession of synthetic drugs, a misdemeanor. Dalrymple was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 11:16 am.

Lowell D. Vincent III, age 18, 905 Front Street, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Vincent was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 11:17 am.

Sony Carlos Love, age 29, 46566 State Route 145, Louisville, OH, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Love was arrested at the Adult Parole Office by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 3:35 pm.

Brian Russell Morgan Jr., age 210 Franklin Street, Marietta, for cultivation of marijuana, a felony. Morgan was arrested at his residence by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 4:09 pm.

Mark Dominic Degori, age 32, 120 Eldorado Drive, Marietta, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. Degori was arrested at S&J Incense by Detective Schuck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 9:50 pm.

James Edward Biles Jr., age 39, 905 Seventh Street, Parkersburg, for felony charges of possession of drugs and tampering with drugs and for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs. Biles was arrested at S&J Incense by Detective Schuck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jul 11 at 10:00 pm.
