On 11 Jul 11 a neighbor reported Ryan J. McCroskey,
age 25, 3570 Oak Hill Road, Stockport, was intoxicated and twice
fired a shotgun into the air. A witness informed Lt. Stackpole
and Sgt. Norman that Mr. McCroskey was upset that his sister
and her husband had yet to return his ATV after being gone for
a long period of time. The witness stated Mr. McCroskey was
intoxicated but did not threaten anyone with the firearm. Questioned
about his actions in the early morning hours, Mr. McCroskey
admitted consuming several beers and firing two shots from his
shotgun. As a result, Sgt. Norman arrested Mr. McCroskey for
using a weapon while intoxicated and transported him to the
Washington County Jail. At the jail Mr. McCroskey tested .130
BAC. The Barlow Fire Department transported Mr. McCroskey’s
sister to Camden Clark Hospital after it appeared she suffered
a broken ankle during a crash on her brother’s ATV.
