On 10 Jul 11 Nancy Beck, age 61, 7400 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, reported she was involved in a minor dispute with her husband. Mrs. Beck stated neither party threatened the other nor did any physical altercation occur. Both parties agreed to sleep separately for the evening to avoid further problems. Therefore, Lt. Stackpole closed this case as unfounded.

On 10 Jul 11 Deputy Sheriff Holbert investigated a report of a male subject lying on a driveway with his feet under a vehicle. At the location, Pioneer City Auto Parts, 131 Schultheis Lane, Marietta, Deputy Holbert found John L. Clark, age 39, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, lying under a vehicle and in a confused state. In the vicinity Deputy Holbert noticed a number of vehicle components and accessories that the property owner said were removed from various vehicles at the business. Mr. Clark, who seemed unaware of his whereabouts and who initially had to be awakened, admitted consuming alcohol earlier in the morning (Deputy Holbert arrived at the scene at 7:50 am). During a subsequent pat down of Mr. Clark for weapons, Deputy Holbert discovered what he believed were stolen turn signal bulbs, a cell phone case, a badge clip and cell phone car charger. Additionally, in Mr. Clark’s truck Deputy Holbert found a car battery, alternator and other items the property owner said belonged to the business. Consequently, Deputy Holbert arrested Mr. Clark for theft and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Randy Lee Hazle, age 36, 82 Crescent Street Building 3 Apt. 1C, Saratoga Springs, NY, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hazle was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 11 at 5:22 am.

John Leonard Clark, age 39, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Clark was arrested on State Route 26 by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 11 at 9:34 am.
